ASQ has moved!

After 15 May 2024 all new submissions must be directed through the portal on our new site https://journals.flvc.org/ASQ
If you already have a manuscript in progress with an assigned NMS# then we will continue to correspond via africanstudiesquarterly@gmail.com. However, we will no longer respond to any new submission attempts from this account. Please note that ASQ operates on reduced staff 15 May – 15 August so responses to new submissions may take longer than usual.
Past ASQ issues will remain archived on our original website and will also be migrated to the archives section of the new site in coming months.

About African Studies Quarterly

ASQ invites the submission of original manuscripts on a full range of topics related to Africa in all areas. To qualify for consideration, submissions must meet the scholarships standards within the appropriate discipline and be of interest to an interdisciplinary readership. As an electronic journal, we welcome submissions that are of a time-sensitive nature.
